Meet the Santa Monica Specialists  lecture series

Since the acquisition of Santa Monica (SM) Hospital by UCLA Medical Center, a number of major changes have been made to the availability of outpatient health care on campus, raising strong concerns among the Faculty Welfare Committee.  At the beginning of last year, medical specialists were moved to SM Hospital, and by the end of the year, most of the primary care providers had followed.  Although, we are expressly NOT promoting the move of specialists to SM Hospital, we do encourage the Medical Center to sponsor events such as this lecture series that would allow faculty members a forum for asking questions about the move.
